Killester College students 'Photography Exhibition'.

Hi All, College has finally come to an end, exams are but a past memory. The students from Killester College, myself included, are showing an exhibition of our photographs. Each class member will exhibit one photograph each, whether a personal favourite or one that has been recommended by fellow classmates, family & friends. The exhibition will be running for 2 weeks from......

Monday 17th May 2010 till 31st May 2010.
Exhibition will start at 6.30pm at........
Coolock library, Barryscourt Road, Dublin 17, Ireland.

All are welcome, it would be great to see you there to lend support to Killester's Commercial Photography Class of 2009/2010. It has been an interesting year at Killester College FE and we feel a small exhibition of our recent work fitting and a good end to our Media Production/Commercial Photography FETAC Level 5 course.

I myself will be moving on to St. Kevin's College in September to further my education in photography. There I will be studying for a BTEC HND certification.

Please feel free to check out my photography whether on Flickr or Facebook and of course, if you wish to contact me about any of my work or even just to say Hi, I would be more than happy to accommodate you in anyway & I would love to hear from you and find out what photography adventures you've been up to.

Thank You for all your support and feedback. I look forward to seeing you out there somewhere, someday. Happy travels & Happy snapping!

Final Exams. Killester College FE, Commercial Photography.

The time has finally come to sit my final exams at Killester
College. I have attended Killester College since September 2009. I have been studying Commercial Photography for those of you who didn't know & tomorrow will be the first exam of three, Retail Administration (Business) exam. This exam will stand for 60% of my mark for that module then Media Analysis and Health & Safety exams will follow on Monday 10th May 2010. I will be acheiving a FETAC Level 5 in Media Production/Photography when I graduate.

September 2010 brings new challenges when I start at St. Kevin's College, furthering my education and progressing to a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Media Production/Photography. I will be studying there for 2 years.

Along with all my studies I will be pushing and promoting 'Paul Nesbitt Photography' in the hope to put my photography out there to bring awareness of my photographs and securing interest in general and within the Travel & Tourism Industry.

Idealy I want to use my photographic skills to promote travel and tourism bringing the world into peoples lives through photography.

The planet we live on is so precious and beautiful, so many places to visit and experience. I want to get out and document the worlds countries & cultures. Go on...Get packing...Travel Well, Travel safe.

Commercial Photography (Corporate Shots)

Recently I was commissioned to shoot some corporate head shots for TrakAx.com. High-Andes Limited is the company behind TrakAx.com. They develop, distribute and license sophisticated multimedia-creation software and professional content bundles for PCs and mobile devices. They are a privately owned company based in Dublin, Ireland.

I have a personal friendship with the TrakAx team and they asked me if I could provide them with some profile/head shots for their business to use for advertising and marketing in local/national papers, magazines and on Internet websites. They were looking for something casual, less formal than your usual corporate shots of professionals in suits, standing in front of company logo or staged poses on stair cases so we took the photography to the streets.

We chose an area in Dublin famous for its Graffiti and local slogans and writings of Dublin's political views and of course the love for the famous local band U2.....

We managed to achieve an Urban look & feel with a casual laid back attitude full of vibrant colours thanks to a Street Graffiti backdrop. Though the shoot was trying to capture a casual look the guys were however very professional with a professional business to promote.

I really enjoyed the shoot, it was relaxed, not rushed and friendly due to the fact I knew my clients. I'm now looking forward to new photo shoots whether corporate, commercial, recreational or privately commissioned.

Keep checking in to see updates and new photographs from 'Paul Nesbitt Photography'.

Thanks for all your support :)
